The mighty Ganga river for her strength and purity is considered as the divine mother by the entire nation. Our story too is symbolic of the Mother Ganga who was the wife of a prosperous Thakur in his palacial mansion manned by servants alongwith their three sons-Mohan, Ram and Prakash.
Good fortune like a beautiful damsel danced in joy in their courtyard. And then suddenly one day she disappeared leaving a veil of gloom in the once lightened house. The storm of misfortune that blew over them in the form of vicious dacoit Roopa shattered the peace of their home. Ganga became a widow and her sons were lost to her in the vast emptiness of this world. The queen of the peaks had descended to a sorry plight on earth - unsung and unknown - a victim of the twists of fate which continued to play its cruel tricks. Prakash under whose roof she struggled to live was sentenced to life. Older brother Mohan seething in the fire for revenge had turned tough and hard-hearted-his only goal in life was to trace the killer of his father and take revenge from him.
What happened to Ram?
Was Prakash able to prove his innocence?
Did the three brothers ever meet again?
Was Ganga able to relive her glorious past again?
The spellbinding answer to these lies in the greatest human story told.
GANGA MERI MAA.
